I started Ovelo because I kept watching the same thing happen — good businesses losing hours every week to books that should have taken minutes.

As a CPA working inside traditional accounting environments, I saw the same pattern everywhere: small and mid-sized businesses either overpaid for a full accounting team they didn't need, or underpaid for help that missed things a professional would have caught.
